Miramoon Pharma is a Spinoff of the University of the Basque Country and Biogipuzkoa whose mission is focused on the development of therapies for degenerative diseases. Our goal is to delay the devastating symptoms associated with these diseases and offer patients a temporary window to preserve their quality of life.

Technology:

Our technology is based on the development of small molecules that stabilize ryanodine receptors (RyR), neutralize reactive oxygen substances and regulate intracellular calcium homeostasis, which prevents cell death and tissue degeneration. This strategy is genetically agnostic and applicable to pathologies in different tissues where RyRs are altered.
